Opening concert Grachtenfestival

Video projections in De Stijl.

For the opening concert of the Grachtenfestival, Beeldjutters made a video mapping at the Compagnie theatre in Amsterdam. The open air concert was entirely dedicated to De Stijl. We liked to be inspired by this art movement and provided every song with its own image.

Of course, the projections were given a Beeldjutters twist. The visuals were not only animated in the computer, but also made analogous with colour filters and coloured liquid. A tribute to the work of Mondriaan and Van Doesburg.
