On the beaches of Wildeburg festival, this immense vortex of water, smoke, and color seemed to spin endlessly forward. Video projections on a floating water screen form the heart of the piece, while drifting smoke carries the light through the air, wrapping visitors in an immersive, otherworldly experience. Here, the line between image and environment dissolves. You’re not merely watching, you’re inside the artwork itself.

Each world you journey through reveals the intricate connections that bind everything in the universe: from distant stars, to the ocean’s deepest waters, to a futuristic city of geometric blocks. Vortex is uniquely tailored to each location. At Wildeburg, visitors glimpsed a floating, bamboo-munching panda and a guiding hand leading them through the festival’s bamboo labyrinth: a magical touch that transformed the environment into a living story.
